About Me: Geoffrey Wowk [ jof•ree woke]

I consider myself a Creative Design & Marketing Operative who has over 13 years of professional experience in print, digital and social media. Currently, I am a Vice President within the Consulting Services Group at Cresa New York, managing the creative & marketing services department.

My primary responsibilities include the creation, production and management of integrated design solutions as well as overseeing designers, support staff and overall department operations. I am versed in creating publications, business development materials and board level presentations. I also collaborate with various service lines, both locally and nationally, to develop marketing strategies, implement identity and branding initiatives, and to execute tactical design concepts while adhering to and evolving the brand.
 
Prior to Cresa, I rose through the ranks from a Junior Designer to a Senior Creative Designer within the creative services group at Colliers International. Utilizing experiences in communication arts across various mediums and disciplines, I served as a key creative component in the rebranding of the tri-state regional offices from Williams Real Estate to Colliers.
 
Additionally,I served as the Acting Art Director/Assistant Art Director for Natural History Magazine and was a contributing designer at Popular Mechanics Magazine.

With a heart that bleeds Orange, I am a proud dual graduate of Syracuse University and earned a B.A. in Graphics Arts from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and a B.A. in Psychology from the College of Arts and Sciences.

As an active volunteer, I am committed to helping several not-for-profits and organizations throughout the area including: the Hoboken & Guttenberg Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT), The Loving Day Project, the National MS Society and the New York Road Runners. 

In order to maintain a work-life balance, I enjoy hiking in the wilderness, cooking and bingeing the latest acclaimed Netflix series. I am an accomplished marathoner, training for the 2017 New York City Marathon, and as well as a member of the Spartan Trifecta Tribe. I am a steadfast supporter and founding member of the New York City Football Club as well a founding member of The Third Rail supporters group. You can regularly find me cheering along with all of the supporters on game day.
